Short answer: no, not directly. To install and use a 4S eSIM, your device must support eSIM.
If your phone or tablet does not support eSIM, you will not be able to install a 4S eSIM profile directly in your device settings.
What can I do?
- Use another unlocked device that supports eSIM.
- Check whether your device supports eSIM after a software update.
- Before purchasing, contact 4S support if you are not sure whether your device is compatible.
About third-party physical eSIM adapters
Some third-party products claim to add eSIM support to phones that do not support eSIM. 4S does not provide, recommend, or guarantee these adapters.
- 4S cannot confirm whether a specific adapter will work with a 4S data-only eSIM.
- 4S support cannot troubleshoot adapter hardware, adapter apps, or adapter firmware.
- If you choose to use an adapter, confirm compatibility with the adapter provider before purchasing a 4S eSIM.
Before purchasing, make sure your device itself shows an option such as Add eSIM or Download eSIM. If it does not, use a different eSIM-compatible device or contact 4S support first.
