Short answer: it depends on your plan. Some plans may stop working when the included data is used. Unlimited plans with a high-speed quota may continue at reduced speed.
For regular data plans
If your plan includes a fixed amount of data, mobile data may stop working after the data is used. If top-up is available, recharge the plan from your 4S service page. If top-up is not available, purchase a new plan for the destination.
For unlimited plans
If your plan says Unlimited Data – High-speed quota included, the plan includes a total amount of high-speed data for the full validity period. After the high-speed data quota is used, you can continue using data at a reduced speed of up to 1 Mbps upload/download until the plan expires.
How to restore high-speed data
If top-up is available for your unlimited plan, you can recharge it to add more high-speed data. Top-up can also extend the plan validity period.
What to do
- Check your remaining data and validity on your 4S service page.
- If a top-up option appears, choose the matching current destination or regional top-up.
- If no top-up option appears, purchase a new plan or contact 4S support.
