Short answer: select the eSIM label used for your 4S profile. Your phone may not literally show the name 4S eSIM unless you chose that label during installation.
When your phone asks you to name or label the eSIM during installation, choose a clear label you will recognize later, such as 4S eSIM, your destination country or region, or Travel. If you did not rename it, look for the newly added eSIM, a travel/secondary/business label, or the line that shows No Number.
What to look for
- A label you chose, such as 4S eSIM, your destination country or region, or Travel.
- A line labeled Travel, Secondary, Business, Personal, or similar.
- A line that shows No Number. 4S eSIM is data-only, so no phone number is normal.
- The eSIM that was added most recently.
After selecting it
- Turn on data roaming for that same eSIM line.
- Turn Wi-Fi off briefly to test mobile data.
- If there is no internet, check APN and network settings.
